As I am new to this forum -- have quite a bit of Solstice drivetime under my belt and I strongly support GM's new direction under Bob Lutz's leadership, I would like to respectfully ask that you help me keep this post alive. I see that this is a very active forum and what's posted today--can be buried under by tommorrow!
And please keep in mind that I only ask this because this raffle benefits 3 very worthy charities which is easily verifiable. Thank you!

To whom this may concern:
I am Marvin Towns Jr. President and CEO of the Concours d'Elegance at Cranbrook (www.concoursatcranbrook.com), the show that GM has been the title sponsor and GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz our chief judge and driving force since its inception in 2003. As part of our charitable work we are raffling a 2006 Pontiac Solstice - built to order for the winning ticket holder!

The tickets are $50.00 each. The Winning ticket will be drawn at Noon on Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Radisson Kingsley Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. You need not be present to win.

Tickets are available online through our web-site or you can call us at 248 539 2150. There will only be a total of 2000 tickets sold.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Michigan Humane Society, The Variety FAR Conservatory of Therapeutic & Performing Arts, Women's Survival Center of Oakland County and The Concours d'Elegance at Cranbrook.

The Solstice is HOT! Here is a chance to own the car for only $50.00 a chance and donate money to 3 very worthy charities!

We thank you for your support in advance.

Sincerely,

Marvin G. Towns. Jr.

Sounds like a good raffle. One question though. Why does the image of the ticket on the web site say that the drawing will be held September 5th 2005?

Will do! I think that's very important. Hopefully its someone from this forum!

Can anyone tell me how to post a picture in a message or on my member i.d.? I have a picture of the red Solstice that Bob L. loaned us for the summer that I'd like to share with everyone.

Has anybody verified this - or is this a well-known charity event in the area and is legit? I'd like to buy a ticket but I need somebody to verify that this is legit.

Thanks

I've done some research - his web page appears legit. His PayPal address is verified.

I'm going to buy a ticket. Marvin, make sure that you sell me a lucky one, OK?!

I'll let you all know if I have any trouble or suspicion.

Winning Ticket

Just bought a winning ticket. The charities win everytime one of us purchases a ticket.

Now if I can get selected to get the car...this will then be a Win-WIn situation for me. Good Luck all and support worthy causes.

Bringing it back to the top.....

Just writing to bring this thread back to the top, as requested.

By the way, is a salesman eligible for this promotion, and what are the max. # of tickets you can purchase?
