I ended up actualy paying less than MSRP because when the car finally got here, it had the wrong seats from the factory. There wasn't a way to mark two boxes on the survey. I got about 875. bucks knocked off MSRP and had 3,487.00 built up on my GM Card. I've been with this salesperson from Chevy to Pontiac for 12 years. I've been told I have the cheapest Solstice ever sold. I think they may be right! Hooray
That's almost identical to the deal I got on my '08. The GM Card is a handy thing.

Loaded GXP for $5,000 UNDER MSRP! NEW!

I'm pretty happy with the deal we got. It's an '07, new, but with 1.100 miles on it. Not a demo, just driven a bit by the sales people, and test driven. So the in service date hadn't started yet. Sticker was over $32,300, and we paid $27,900, plus $750 GM card discount, PLUS )% financing! The car was built the end of April, so it's not an old car, just loaded and didn't sell. I had them do an alignment and change the oil to Mobil 1.
So we paid over $5,000 UNDER MSRP, PLUS 0% on the balance. That's the cheapest new car payment I've had since the 80's!:yesnod:

Way less than MSRP

The new '08 Sol that I just bought my wife had a MSRP of $28,550 (solstice roadster 2.4 auto leather ect), and I was out the door with tax, title, license for $18,622. Which is just about private party used value, and this is a new car!
It had 118 miles on the clock from the dealer taking it to a couple events for display. I looked all over for a sky, there were even a few new 2008's around, but the dealers would not budge off of GMS price. I found this Solstice and it was the last new Pontiac that the dealer had on the lot and he wanted to move it. I had the right timing to find it right when he decided to slash the price to get rid of it. I checked the records cause I figured it must have been crashed or something, but nope, it only had service updates done on it while it was at the dealer.

When I bought my loaded 2007 GXP in August of 2008, I paid $24,500.
It was brand new but since it was "old" I guess they wanted to get rid of it. I did have to buy the ONE car advertised, so I got black instead of the red I wanted, but for the price I was happy.
Right now in the Detroit area you can get new Sols at around 21,000 with 0% financing from the dealers.

I bought my 08 Sol GXP Aggressive earlier this year signed papers on it Aug 21st...It was a left over, had 68 miles on the ticker when I test drove it Aug 20th...Its fully loaded with Premium pkge, 6 CD Head unit w/XM Radio/Monsoon Sound System, Sport Pedals, OnStar, Rear Spoiler...I financed $24,853. Not to bad considering the MSRP was near 32K, which was still $5000 less than what I was quoted back in Nov of 06 for the 07 GXP that was just coming out...I couldnt justify paying 37K for it, so I walked away and waited...Glad I did!!!

They had only two 09 coupes both GXP's. They had two 09 N/A's and two 08's. MSRP on my 09 Wicked GXP coupe was $34,500.00 or close to it and I paid 26,500 so I think I got a pretty good deal. They had one of those short sales promotions on all Pontiacs, plus the discounts from the dealer and GM. I could not pass up the deal. Actually, I was not even planning on buying a car for another two years. I guess they "hooked" me. Actually, the car "hooked" me.

I think I may take the cake on this one. I managed to find a New 2007 GXP with 350 miles on it for under $20k including tx. And the dealer is taking care of putting in a new battery / verifying everything seal wise is still good.

Bought my new '09 "Mean" yellow GXP coupe on Jan. 15th of this year from Burns Pontiac in NJ (Dealer "inflated Price" was $40,400, MSRP was $35,120, and the price I negotiated down to was $25,500). This was after the dealer having sold it a few times, but the peoples' credit didn't go through, or their spouse wouldn't allow it... so it never left the showroom until I drove it home with 21 miles on the clock. It was their last Pontiac, too! (I have pictures of it in the showroom in one of my earlier posts...)

Mine wasn't quite new. Got an '08 GXP with 890 miles in March of 2008 for $24,000. Looking back now could have waited another year and saved $3,500.00 to $5,000.00.

I purchased my 2008 GXP in early march, it listed for close to 30,000 dollars and it had 365 miles on it. I made an offer of $22,000 for this loaded GXP (Sly Grey) and they accepted my offer. I was as happy as a "PIG IN SH_T" with the deal I got.

I bought my 09 Solstice GXP Coupe October 26th with 11,000 miles on it. I paid $24,999 cash for it and after reading I think I got a good deal. I went into my local BMW dealer to look at some cars and an old man had traded in the Solstice for a BMW because he had trouble getting in and out. I always liked the Solstice but in reallity I came across mine by accident. It's like I was meant to own it.

Bought my first Solstice in 2007 a brand new Mean loaded and Auto on the showroom floor of a dealership in Kansas. Sticker for 32000 signed the papers the same day for 22000. Nov 17 2007. Had 35 miles on the odometer, still have it today 38,000 now still looks new and will never get rid of her.

Bought my second Solstice for my 23 year old daughter for college graduation!(she has wanted since i got mine in 2007. Went to work found a White(Pure) sitting on a used car lot in Kansas. 2008 base automatic LOADED with a new addition since 2007 ANYWAY. It had 8053 miles on it offered 12000 and they took it! Said they were never going to sell it that I had been the only person to even show an interest. This Pontiac thing has people scared! Anyway I have two of these Awesome vehicles now and paid a grand total of 34,000 for both. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to ALL
