We had this issue last fall and went in for service in the spring and they swapped the diff fluid and all was good. But now that it got colder its started again. 1.. Anybody else go thru this frequently?..2 Do these diffs need the lube changed more often than others including lsd addititve ? Or should I just do this on a yearly basis and be done with it.
Its only getting about 3-4000 mi a year on it.

I've heard from a thread that add the additive and then do a dozen sets of figure-8s. I'll post the thread as an edit once found. I have this trouble myself and hope to resolve it this way, which seems easy and inexpensive.

***Edit: http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/f63/ratchet-sound-08-gxp-52616/#post785828 There's one. Editing another when found.

***Edit#2: http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/f12/grinding-noise-when-turning-slow-speeds-36282/ Another. You can just search and get more answers.

If you are still under warranty. I would demand a new diff. I did.

Just back from dealer.......as for the diff I'm gonna wait till spring when we bring the car back out But as for 'the service the ESC' issue apparently the Electronic Brake control module went on the fritz and must be replaced. Anyone else experience that?

No problems with the ESC but I did have the dif. assy. replaced under warranty. Did the dealer say you would be covered on the dif in the spring?
