Yesterday I bought a set of brake pads for the scion. I was strapped for cash and got the cheapest set. Standard Duralast. When I get home and open the box, there's a note in there that says Congratulations, we have upgraded your parts to Duralast Gold, blah, blah, blah, enjoy the benifits of out top quality parts for no additional charge! So, when you go to buy something, ask for the standard duralast first and open the box to see if you have the promo parts and then if not, then you can say, oh, I'll get the gold instead. If that's what you want.
