Happy that it worked for you.

Are you certain that you car was sold with RKE (Remote keyless Entry? You may have said this before, but I do not recall. If it did, the code ZQ2 and/or AU0 will appear in the RPO code list on the inside of the glovebox door.
Yes it has both sets AU0 & ZQ2 so I guess I'll be set when and if I get a fob.

Jon has a point. Open your glovebox, there should be a sticker on the lid with info about your car including a series of 3 digit codes. Check if codes AU0 or ZQ2 are on the list. If not, then your car didn't come with keyfobs from the factory, though I think Solstices without it are rare.
Mine didn't come with any options except A/C.
I figure less things to go wrong that way. :)

I found out from a key shop that our cars limit the number of fobs to be programmed. I had to go to a second key shop because Hot Sauce had too many programmed already. The first key shop didn't have the program to erase old fobs....second one did. Both new fobs programmed in about 2 minutes.

My '06 accepts up to 4 fobs.

Hey you gunna use all those..😁
I hope not :ROFLMAO: .

But I a couple years ago I got an excellent deal on 2 "switchblade" keyfobs and my car came with both original fobs and keys, so I programmed the 2 new switchblades but didn't erase the 2 original fobs. When programming the new fobs with the Tech2Win/VCX Nano I saw there are only four available "slots" for keyfob programming. If you program a 5th fob, either it will fail and require you to delete one, or it will replace one of the old 4 -- not sure as I never tried it.
