Until I get a spare $200 for the budget tune, I figured I'd try the edal mod on my 08 GXP. at first I thought it made a bit of a difference but I un did the mod yesterday and like it better stock. It did seem a bit smoother at take off but I think when I get on it and stretch it out for a couple gears, it seems like it looses power. also, without the mod, if I'm taking off and get on it in 1st, while I'm shifting into second, the instant I let off the gas, I can hear my tires screech. it does it from 2nd to 3rd too. is that normal? it did not do it with the mod on. it's not a chirp like a second gear scratch but it's like the engine has so much torque that when I let off the gas it's slowing the tires enough to create friction. I'm only giving it about half throttle when I do this and it does it all the time. I'm not ragging on the thing, just giving it enough gas to feel the power and then I let off and shift. Just checking.

Stay away from the Edal mod it has a history of given problems.

Sounds like a shifting/clutching operator error to me...
