Who ever owns it maybe just trying to see what kind of offers they can get.
Ebay is not were I would try and sell a car like that if I was seriously trying to sell it.
Personally I don't like either one.

I have to agree with Buzzardt, the special auction houses is a better venue for this type of car.

We owned a '56 Chevy Nomad back in the 70s. It was a gorgeous car and I loved it! We belonged to the Nomad Club and learned all about this '54 Nomad - but we knew it as the Waldorf Nomad. It is/was a gorgeous car!! I believe originally there was only one of these made and it was destroyed. :(

The bid got up to 105,106.00 before it closed; but the reserve wasn’t met.

I just ran across this site that makes the car not so rare.

They are saying they plan on building 25 of them.
