Is it me or does there seem to be a disproportionate amount of Gray cars in these salvage ads?
I like the dark Gray (Sly) color best and they seem to be hard to find...now I know why 馃槈

I check, and list in excel, all salvage Kappas I stumble upon. Every time I am amazed how many salvage Kappas there are. Never noticed that the number of Gray ones is relatively high though.

Below a table with a nice rough overview of Solstice color and production numbers. There where only <2000 Gray Solstice made.

I do not remember who compiled this very nice table, but most likely I downloaded it from this forum.

Please be aware that some cars seem to be missing. In my opinion the total Solstice production was 65724 cars, including 1280 coupes.

The original table was done by a member, 56XK140, and I updated it to include the 2010s and the coupes.

The total production number jibes with my other production numbers taken from GM's monthly reports to shareholders, so I assume it is relatively accurate.

2007 Solstice GXP $2,500 Hollywood, FL
My insurance company just said my car is a total loss at 128k miles. I'm going to list it for $2500 first just to sell it complete. If there are no takers I'll part it out. The car still runs and drives fine but now the hood won't close because the idiot adjuster apparently pried the hood open from the front. The RK Sport bumper did survive the accident. I surrendered the title so it will come with a Certificate of Destruction & bill of sale. Let me know if interested. The car has koni shocks, AEM intake w/K&N filter, solo cat and Wester's street tune.

Runs and drives good. Needs front bumper and hood, windshield has crack at bottom but out of vision when driving. Tires are in great shape. It down shifts hard but not when up shifting. I'm not sure why! Clean title. Open to any offers or trades. Need gone asap!!!

Hello all,
I am very close to this one, and I am seriously considering purchasing it.
Anyone wishing to chime in as to what the "bottom line" I should offer would be appreciated.

Just a bit about me and my experience, I have an '88 Fiero GT that has had the same (almost identical) damage to it.
I have enjoyed all my Fieros since they first came out in '84, (I am on number 8 or 9 now) so I do know a bit about cars in general.
It is not perfect, but getting there!

Thanks to anyone replying, and if someone else wants me to evaluate this one, I am very close by, but hope it will be in my garage come next Monday.

Yes, I have read every thread on the hard shift situation, and I am quite confident I can cure that one, and if not, it will be just another challenge when I finally retire this June 8th!
Yeah, I am that old, but mentally 21 still.
:smile2:

Thanks in advance,
Dave

You may want to start a separate thread to get more replies since most assume this thread is about totaled Sols for sale.

FWIW-http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/f12/auto-transmission-suckage-65252/index2.html Good luck if you decide to buy it, I also maintain another thread called low priced Solstice. Average price is around $4500 w/over 100,000.

Thanks and I appreciate the information.

I will start a new thread, and hope to have some feedback.
Otherwise I am on my own with little to no knowledge about a Solstice, and I did read all about the transmission issues.
Now ask me about Fiero problems and fixes, I am pretty good with them.

2007 Pontiac Solstice - $1200 (West Sacramento)
2007 Pontiac Solstice with left front wheel damage and selling for parts
The car hit a center median curb with the left front tire and broke the lower control arm. It also sheared off the lower control arm mounts off the body, which is why I haven't fixed it. The right person might be able to fix it. It does not have a salvage title and has current registration. Car has 54892 miles and the car was running great when the accident happened. None of the running gear was damaged. Seats and top are also in good shape. It currently is in my garage and will need to be drug onto a trailer or flat bed tow truck for transport

Just wondering if you still had parts to sell
Markberg, none of the cars I post in this thread are mine, they are Sols I find through Craigslist.

You need to click on the links in this thread and ask the seller. Just know that Craigslist postings only run for 30 days.
