Now that winter's here, and a lot of us have our fastbacks stored away, I think it's appropriate to start posting fastback videos in order to help us get through the long winter. Unfortunately, there are very few high quality HD beauty roll type videos of the fastback.

Id like to see what it looks like behind the seats, towards the rear of the car inside. Ive never seen one in person.

Never heard of a fastback, but my COUPE is covered for the winter.
I've started using the term fastback to describe the coupe because;
one, the coupe is a fastback body style, and two, many people still use the term coupe to describe a convertible. By using the term fastback, no one is going to mistake what body style is being talked about. YMMV

BTW Red, I've seen all those coupe video's, but as I've said none of them are high quality HD beauty roll type videos (also referred to as car porn, but don't Google that).

Here's an example of they type of video I'd like to see using a Solstice. It's a combination of shots using a drone while the car is parked and moving. Though I'd want tighter shots and more 360 views of the car as it's being driven. You definitely have to have a lot of different skills to pull off these types of car videos.

Mmm... I disagree. Many know just what the terms "coupe" and "convertible" mean, but no one that I've asked (includes myself) have ever heard of the term "fastback."

To each his own, I guess...

Per the Wikipedia entry for "fastback": A fastback is often defined as having a single slope from the roof to the rear of the vehicle.

More specifically, Road & Track have defined the fastback as "A closed body style, usually a coupe but sometimes a sedan, with a roof sloped gradually in an unbroken line from the windshield to the rear edge of the car. A fastback naturally lends itself to a hatchback configuration and many have it, but not all hatchbacks are fastbacks and vice versa.

Per Me: It originated as a description of a roofline back in the 60's and 70's, particularly in regards to the early Mustang's long, sloping roofline.
