thende are you brake boosting? I hit almost the same et/speed as you, but I'm manual. I thought the autos were quicker because you can spool up on the line. Slightly faster than me nonetheless.

Brap,

I bring the throttle up around 1500 against the brake, but these cars do not build boost (At least mine does not), until it is under load. Must be an electronic safety net....

I have tried all different electronic setting (ESC, TC), on/off, power brake, idle and stab, and best appears all electronic's off (ESC, TC) and power brake it, and go at the Second Amber (by the time the car reacts and me to be honest :), you get a pretty good reaction time.

Yep, that was my neighbor. He had a better ET, but got him on the R/T :)

He has 2008 G8 GT with intake & exhaust. This was my second fastest run, 13.97 if I remember.

I've got the trifecta tune on mine (07 gxp auto) and went 13.7 first time down the strip at Bristol Dragway on the original (50k miles on them) tires. It definitely surprised me! Congrats on your personal best.

Im from the old school so if I want to lower my ET I just increase the stall speed. my 78 TA ran 11's with a 3500 stall and a big block 454. 13's is damn good for a 4 banger though. especially something that you can drive every day and still get 20mpg. that's awesome.

Actually drive it daily and get 28 MPG Average. But agree, Nothing sounds like a V-8, I miss my old 99 Z-28 with the 6 speed. No t-tops or extra stuff (Leather, etc). Just the basics, went like stink and was the greatest 4 wheel drift car on the on ramp :)

Wow that's low. I don't baby it but I don't beat on it constantly either. I'd say the wheels spin at least once a day though :) On the crap e10 gas everyone has now I get about 26 as an avg in my normal commuting. I can do 30+ if it's all highway.
