Trying to make time, I quickly disassembled both front brakes at the same time as not to change tools. At one point I had the front caliper brackets sitting on my work bench and pulled out the pairs of slide pins. Wiping them clean to re-grease, I realized one of each pair of pins has a rubber tipped end.

The front caliper brackets are marked L & R so I got that right.

My question is.....Do the rubber-tipped slide-pins go into the upper or lower position?

I knew better not to disassembling everything at the same time. A senior moment for me :frown2:

I got my answer. I drove to a place where I have access to "All Data". In the diagram, the slide pins with the rubber tips go into the upper positions.
