Me and a friend build some retrofit headlights for my gxp and when hooking everything up accidentally broke the power tab off the fuse box. We tried repairing it by soldering the price back and after many tries it worked. Except for the parking lights and 3rd brake light stay on unless the parking light fuse is removed. So on the search for a fuse box the part number on my GXP seems to be from a Saturn sky.

The part number is 15876647

After googling the number and on eBay all of them say Saturn sky. Now I'm wondering if they are all interchangeable or if it has to be the same year? I know on many cars they are year specific as car manufacturers make changes to the vechiles. Any info would be greatly appreciated

The GXP and Sky RL are functionally the same in most aspects, so I would expect the underhood fuse blocks to be interchangeable. The same is true for the two NAs.
The GXP/RL fuse blocks are not the same as the NA fuse blocks.
There could be year-to-year differences with the GXP/RL because of the vacuum pump that was only installed in a certain VIN range.

For the parking lamps, have you also tried pulling relay 68?

One confusing factor here is that the CHMSL (3rd brake light) is controlled from the BCM (body control module) in the passenger footwell, and not from the UFB.

Yea that is what I thought, but I am asking because when looking for a used one the ones I get for the solstice GXP have different part numbers for the same year. I'm thinking it's possible the one in my car was swapped by the previous owner for the sky fuse box
