Stage 3 turbo from Whom?.
That asked, I would be inquiring of the vendor you are buying this stage 3 from and see what his/her recommendations are for this kind of upgrade.

there are "stages" to the size of turbo? I personally would recommend the supercharger route if its a 2.4 non-GXP. if its teh GXP, there are a ton of other upgrades to net you tons of power without touching the turbo at all.

Tuning, Intercooler, water/meth injection, better flowing IC tubes, catless downpipe or high flow cat, intake/exhaust (not much power to be had here).

the 2.0 can handle a decent amount of boost and your stock K-04 can put out a setady 18psi and spike up to 24psi(ish) with proper tuning ans supporting mods.

The 2.0L GXP turbo motor is good to between 400-450hp. Anything more you will need internals. I'm not sure on the NA 2.4L. I've heard anything above 250hp you will need internals because it uses weaker rods.

The 2006 and 2007 2.4 motors use forged internals I know a few guys in the area that have turbo cars in the 400 to 425 horsepower range with no internal modifications .One is a Sky that the guy autocrosses and he just got rid of it with 72000 miles on it and no problems .His car is listed at Doug Chevrolet in Akron Ohio in case anyone is interested

I bought a 2008 solstice , I add a stage 3 Hahn turbo kit. Transmission went two month after, shifting is not as hard as it was without turbo kit . Replace trans have it tune looking to increase boost to 15 lb.. Car is incredibly fast. horsepower I think it is about 325 whp. What is the top end of horsepower you can get out of this 2.4L motor.

Need more information :What make of turbo / auto or stick / year of car /mileage/ is the car raced ? I have a Hann stage 11 kit and everything that I have read says that this setup should last the life of the car with maybe a turbo unit rebuild at some point. I run Royal Purple oil and change it every 3000 miles or once a year if I don't reach that mark , and flush and refill my radiator every two years.I periodically go over the nuts and bolts to make sure nothing loosened up and check all my connections on my charge tubes and am in the process of replacing the worm gear clamps with t bolt clamps . I have insulated the wiring near the turbo unit and will be installing an insulated heat blanket soon
