Wow!!!! On another thread I commented about Race Mesh Grills not making fog light surrounds. Looks like they have done it for this ride. I would love a pair in black chrome!!!!!

Kitahara's dealership is where I go when I need something for my Solstice (they have been very supportive). One of the service reps told me that the owner had a "modified" Solstice. What an understatement!
I need to find a way to see that car. I wonder where he keeps his car collection. I will make inquiries.

I have good news! I reached out to Michael at Race Mesh Grilles and asked. As I mentioned in another thread two years ago they did not make them. THEY DO NOW!!!!!!:willy: I am going to get a set plus the lower valence in Black Chrome and get them shipped to Norm's Fibreglass for him to install when I go there in April. He will be putting on the GXP front splitter on so might as well get a complete nose job!!!:willy: Expensive...$389.00 for the two bezels but I gotta have them!:brentil:

Non supporting vendor so you will have to google to get to his site. From there you can contact him.

Franknbeans thank you for posting this. I never would have known. I had given up! The mods just keep coming!!!:willy:

Definitely one of my fav Kappa's. Like it so much tracked down the HPP magazine and bought it. The builder or owner posted a couple times on the forum. Told them it they made a poster available it would sell (at least one would hang in my garage). Great mechanics/visuals. More Hot Rod than sports car.

NS, we want pics.

Sweet car. I looked into those grilles because they look pretty cool... until I saw the price. That's ridiculous for a couple pieces of metal mesh. To be honest, I wish somebody made pieces to replace the grilles and fog bezels with a surround that's wide open in the middle, sort of like the optional grilles that were available on the GTO or the ram air nose on the Grand Am's, aka: no grille.

Chop,
For sure I will post pics. Won't be until spring when I get the install done. In addition to the Black Chrome Race Mesh Foglight Bezels and lower valence to go with my kidney grilles, I have also purchased some extra race mesh black chrome material and it is being shipped to Norm. He will use it for the screen on the front of the one scoop "conservative hood" he is making me!:willy::willy: My whole front will tie together with the black chrome mesh!!!

I've seen and heard this car in person at one of our KAPPA events a few years ago. It was very loud (in a good way) but the only thing that bothered me was how much the entire car shook like crazy. Like a drag car. Not the most comfy ride with all that vibration going on. I'll settle for a minder LS2 or 3. lol

That's awesome. probably required a lot more custom work compared to the LS3 install. Plus the big block is a bit heavier too. However, I'm sure the increase in torque makes it all worth it. I pulled a nice 350 out of my TA and dropped in a nice 454 and after cracking the bell housing in the TH350 tranny completely in half, I was very satisfied with the difference.

Hello, yes youre right but a lot of people hear 427 and get confused with the big block old school iron heavy engines of around a 69 L88 427 Corvette, those were great in the day. Ls series is basicly a aluminum small block but bored and stroked out to 427 cu in in lay mans terms.

in lay mans terms.
Isn't that where they race cars, at Lay Mans? ;)

(Just pulling your leg as the two separate words instead of the more correct 'layman' looked funny. Though come to think of it, I suppose that should be 'layperson' these PC days....)
