GM recalls 2 million vehicles, mostly 2003-2005 full size trucks and SUV's for faulty seatbelts!

I am glad GM does these voluntary recalls, but unfortunately the press will turn this into another example of how "GM has lousy quality." GM doesn't need the bad press right now.

My Olds was recalled a couple years ago for the rear seatbelts too. My wifes Isuzu was also if I remember right. This wouldn't concern me. Hopefully people will understand and not hold it against GM.

Would you rather they NOT telol anyone about the possible problem and NOT fix it? Recalls are GOOD things and do not reflect bad on any company that does one.
I totally agree. I was just trying to make the point on how the press usually spins recalls into a negative. Especially big ones such as this.
