First of, I figure I have to say Hi! as this is my first post, New owner of a Mean 07 manual GXP.
Anyway, My burning question is Why isn't anyone using a GTX2867r compressor wheel when several vendors are already putting a GT2871 wheel in the stock turbo. My understanding is that the GTX wheel has more top end, and with a slightly smaller Dia. should spool a bit faster. I didnt find an answer to this, but if there is an obvious one that I am missing, something like the profile isnt possible to machine from the stock housing or what not, I apologize.

By the way is a little more involved than just adding the larger wheel.
