You guys/gals on Solstice Forum are an expensive habit!!!!!!!!

Went to Solo Performance in Mississauga today to look at the Mach Shorty System. Jeff and Jack were more than accommodating and YES, I left with a new exhaust system on my car. I took a car with only 12,000 kms and, so far, windshield and tulip panel... painted black(Leggat), chrome headlights switched to coupe style black ones(ECD), and now a new exhaust system (SOLO).............Thankfully it already had the Westers tune!

Anyway, the stock GXP exhaust is at SOLO in Mississauga, anyone interested in it?? Unless Jack, at Solo, has any use for it, it will be free, you just have to pick it up.

Jeff and Jack it sounds and feels great, thank you.

I called Jeff at Solo this morning and thanked him. I confident in thier customer service, so, I won't need the GXP exhaust that came off (12,000 kms) He said that they (SOLO) have no use for the take off GXP exhaust, so, it will be free to anyone that wants to pick it up. Jeff also said that this GXP dual outlet exhaust sounds really good on a N/A Solstices, although you do need to find or purchase the dual outlet valance.
If anyone is interested, just let me know and I'll inform SOLO in Mississauga.

Contact Solo or advertise for a free GXP exhaust in the parts forum. Took me a year and a half to find an OEM GXP dual exhaust valance. The GM dual exhaust valance price is reDICKulous. I know where a cheap one is but unfortunately seller is advertising pick up only. Norm sells really nice fiberglass valances too (in fact Norm also has parts from customers cars so he might even have an OEM valance).

I thought the sound increase was negligible but looks wise it balances out the rear nicely.

Hi there!

I put Norms' dual exhaust valence on mine. I love it. I also installed a GXP muffler on mine (stock pipe otherwise) and it sounds a bit better than the stock 2.4 muffler. Not much different, really, just a touch more "throaty" and a touch louder. It's not obnoxious with either the top up or down.

My stock 06 sounds much better than my stock GXP. I'm going to go with the mach shorty too and am tempted to put the GXP exhaust on the NA but am afraid it won't sound as good. I'd hate to get the rear valence and swap it all out to have it sound quieter. still debating.

Hi Solstz06,

Car looks amazing with the tulip panel painted black.

Funny, I also left my GPX OEM dual exhaust at SOLO in Mississauga. Told them to do whatever they wanted with it and I gave my OEM cat to Carbon Sky.

BTW: You missed a great Fall Colours run up to Cookstown last Sunday.

How did you make out with the chrome wheels and tires you got from me? Did they fit the Cruiser?
