Curiousity compells me to ask: Have you named your Solstice?

I haven't named any of my cars over the years, but I have noticed that many of you have.

I do name my cars, but not until I've driven them for awhile. I want the car to tell me it's name, rather than make one up myself.

So far the name that's sticking on mine is 'Kenny', but there are inside jokes floating around the office about that one. :glol:

my 2001 Sunfire is the "Blue Meanie",
my 2004 Grand Am is the "Pontiac Ballbuster v2.0" (inside joke),

and when I do get my mysterious Soltice, she will be named "Betty"

My name is Cricket, and I had a few people tell me that they would name their car after me to commemorate their experience. Have actually had alot of people buying "regular"cars naming them Cricket. I have a whole fleet of Cricket's running around out there. It's a good way to remember the Salesman's name, and helps me with referrals......which are still the life's blood of my business.

I'm thinking of naming mine MARiSOL.

It's Spanish for "The Sea And The Sun."

Sorry, not Cricket.

We just can't name ours Cricket because I was the proud owner of one of the few cars Plymouth made in the early seventies that was named Cricket. The Plymouth Cricket only lasted six months and was recalled three times before they gave up on it. The last recall was the rear end and Plymouth could not get the parts because they were moving the entire plant by boat from England to Japan. I don't believe they ever made any more. Sorry.
