Hey guys, I have had my 07 Aggressive GXP for a year and a half and I have put off naming or even giving a gender to it until I finished my exhaust. I now have Solo's Street Race & High Flow Cat, and I love how it sounds!

Just looking to spark some fun and get some ideas on possible names!

I'm really not sure you should be asking us to help with a name.
Naming a car should be a sacred link between the driver and the vehicle. The car should 'talk' to you; use that as a reference.

Do you talk to/with your car?
Do you have a need to get its/his/her attention?
Would you like to maintain your position as a superior or an equal?
Would you like the name to be a given formal name or a nick name?
Should there be both formal and nick names to suit the occasion and
your mood? For example you could use the formal name and
even a middle name when you are scolding. ie. "Rudolph Allen,
stop throwing those codes!" He would be Rudy in lighter moments.
Would the car carry your surname, or a maiden name such as Solstice?
Sammy Solstice or Suzie Solstice has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

I find it interesting that some people feel the need to name inanimate objects. Especially when they already have a name from the factory. My wife and I call our vehicles, "The Truck, The Buick, and The Solstice" I went with Solstice over Pontiac because my wife has difficulty saying Solstice and it makes me smile when she tries.

My bikes are the "The Voyager, The Concours, The Versys, The Mean Streak, and the KLX".

If you are so inclined to give your car a nickname, it should be something like "The terminator, The beast, The hulk, the wreck, the Guzzler, etc.

If you spend more time with your car than you do with your lady, then you can call it "the mistress, the Succubus, the Delaware Doll, etc.

Just kidding around. Name it whatever you want.

If you pick a name try to pick a license plate to go with. Like

Sweet Thing (tag ) SWT THNG ,, Red Horse NDN PONY or Baby cause thats what it is to you.

I find it interesting that the people that feel the (incomprehensible to me) urge to name their cars as if they were humans or pets, seem to be too insecure to do it themselves and have to ask for public help or ratification of their decisions. Must be some interesting psychology at work there.

I don't have a nickname for my winky either but if I did it would be "Bobo" - cause he's always clowning around.

I was only asking to hear some opinions and to help spark more thoughts to help me figure out its name, obviously the one I choose is goong to be the right one...just looking to try and get some laughs...if you don't name your stuff, that's fine...I like to, and was just wanting to hear some ideas...thanks for some of the posts

Someone in your family probably has already named it for you.

My kids named mine "Polkawagen" based on the 30 plus hours of MP3's I have loaded up in the deck on my Sol. It's a great name and differentiates it nicely from my "Polkatruck"!

This year she was 'lil biotch" cuz she was acting up a lot. Last year she was "The mistress" but really I don't use the names much. It's been my go-cart, the Sol, the Roadster and a host of other references. My plate reads Hopped-up because my wife and some others gave the green car a Frog reference, and because I've modded the crap out of it.

family member or fate will take care of that for you.went to pick my sol up from the dealer yesterday(new to me)and the liscense plate read ALF ***.there fore its a he ,and would eat a cat if he could get away with it.
