"Help" Clocksring /(Sir coil)

Hi there,

I damaged the clockspring /(Sir coil) from my Solstice GXP 2009 so now none of the buttons on my steering wheel are not functioning :cryin:

I have to buy a new/used one but need the part # number, can someone help me with that?

Thanks

I went to my favorite spot to find illustrations that are keyed to part numbers, but I'm darned if I can find an illustration of the steering wheel and sub assemblies. If I could find it I'd post the part number for you, but no such luck.

I tried gmpartsdirect.com and found the proper drawing under "steering column", the clockspring is number 9. Unfortunately they don't list a price or a part number.

I'll try another couple of places.

The bad news: I tried 4 different online gm parts places, and all off them list the part as "Not Available".

Dave - Same people (GM Parts Department) selling the same item at different prices?????? :skep:
Vic,

I guess Solstice parts are less expensive than Sky parts, I wonder if they are kept in different parts bins in the warehouse?
