How far from the target date

According to my salesman my Solstice should be here today. It didn't arrive. The invoice, of which I have a copy thanks to my salesman, shows these dates;
Invoice date 8/31/05
Shipped 8/31/05
EXP I/T 9/11/05
INT COM 9/12/05
PRC EFF 8/11/05

My wife thinks it should already be here and that the dealer should be able to track it down. I tell her that many of them are still in hold and are slowly being released.

Can those that have received the cars give some examples of their receipt dates, as opposed to the dates on their invoices. Or can one of the dealers on the site actually tell me what these dates mean. My salesman says that they don't usually generate an invoice until the order is close to shipping.

Any info anyone can provide will help.
Thanks

MI, things have changed for the better over the last 2 weeks. Many, many cars were bottled up at the plant (for example my invoice date was 8/9 and not delivered yet). Over last 2 weeks they started shipping in mass. Should be there very soon.
Hope you get your car soon

My wife keeps telling me the same thing. I spoke to my dealer today and they are checking to see if they can find anything out. All I know is that is was on the train bound for Lordstown Ohio a week ago.

Dealers are unable to track the exact location of a car. Someone reported yesterday their dealer called and told them system said they were in a "hold" status at the plant, 3 hours later they called and said it arrived. Just an example of how confusing things are. Think there's nothing to do but wait. Yours does not sound overdue at all.

:agree: Dealers do not know when a car will ariive until they see the transporter pulling away.
