Our friend Cricket just gave me the good news that as of Wednesday, I have advanced to Event Code 3000. The  begins!

Generally speaking, how long has it been taken to go from 3000 (accepted by production control) to 3800 (produced)?

Mi VIN #1319 bounced from 3000 to 3100 to 3000 four times, with 2 to 3 weeks from 3000 to 3100. But the last time it took only 1 day. From 3100 to 3800 it was 16 days. From 3800 to 4200 (shipped) it was 12 days.

Good luck to you.

I saw your VIN is close to mine and was hoping it was "pacing" with your car. The dealer told me Tuesday that it was shipped but the Orderwork bench dated 9/27 stopped at 3800. I'll believe it when I have the documentation or the CAR!

My Vehicle Order Event History was also printed on 09/27. It continues to 4200 shipped and then 4B00 Bayed.

I was concerned that there are two date columns: effective date and end date. All the events to 3400 Broadcast have dates in both columns, but after that there is no end date. I was (am) afraid that means it has not COMPLETED 3800 produced, and the remaining dates are ESTIMATED dates. I hope that is not the case.

If your printout does not even show events after 3800, then I'm ok. You may have gotten your printout before it was updated that day. Mine was printed at 11:47 AM 09/27 Central time.

Cricket?

Maybe Cadillaccricket can answer this one - my dealer has my invoice over two weeks now and it says he starts paying interest on it as of 9/28 - can they do that to him on a car he has not received? :(

Extra interest?

Then maybe when Pontiac finds these dealers charging $2-3-5,000 over MSRP they ought to charge them a little extra interest? Like the whole mark-up!
