I find that I browse eBay nearly nightly for anything Solstice related. I don't always find good things like the tonneau cover I linked last week, but I thought I could still start a thread linking items I find interesting. Here goes:

Solstice jacket - 1 Available

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/323668190271

Pedals that a forum member bought but returned bc there wasn't a clutch pedal (I'm guess this is the same set)

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/254026223962

These have already been posted on here. I bought some myself. It's my belief that these are actually OEM. Nearly sold out.

Non-GXP OEM floor mats

You never really see these OEM rear third brake lights. Pre-used, will need new double sided tape.

That's actually what I was considering as well. My first Sol had the 3 snaps drilled into the body, and the 4th on the aantenn adapter. Ruined the car in my mind. Maybe whoever bought it got cold feet in drilling their car up.

Since I didn't own a tonneau cover I ended up putting tiny chrome push rivets in the windshield frame, and a small plastic push rivet painted with color match paint in the rear hole, then simply removed the antenna adapter. I thought it was a good cover-up job!

I bought this jacket about 4 years ago. I've never worn it. It was from China, so the Pontiac emblems aren't the best. And it zips on the left side, rather then the right. But it is a nice jacket. Mine is almost like a silk. I've never worn it as I wanted something to put in a shadow box.

I've been looking for one of these for awhile now so when I saw this listing I thought great maybe I'll get it . I've purchased a lot of things on Ebay and the first thing I look at is the sellers feedback this guy has a 76 % rating on only 80 items red flag ! Also the fact that per his description there are no tags which translates to me as a cheap Chinese knockoff let the buyer beware ! The Edag tops were partially finished leftovers and purchased by this company which buys this type of stuff and resells it these have been listed for a couple years now . I contacted the company and the tops are missing components so it is up to the buyer to have these things fabricated and for me the biggest issue was the rubber seals and rear hatch hardware not being available

Ratings are easy to tweak on ebay. Just sell a few cheap one dollar items for 90cents and you rating will be sky high in no time.

Remember rating of a 1000 dollar item is just as important as a 1 dollar item.

A low rating for a certain deal could still mean the item is perfect and exactly as described. . . . . . .

. . . but communication was terrible and shipping expensive and very slow.

A low rating like above for a common item would mean you should move on, but for a unique item there is no risk buying it from such a low rated seller.

Also remember that really unhappy buyers that open a case against the seller will not be allowed to rate the seller after that case is closed.

All in all a week old fish smells better than the ebay rating system.

Red I agree with you to some degree anything can be tweaked but for me you still have to have something to go by and as long as I've been dealing on Ebay (years ) there are certain things I look for the ratings ,years the seller has been on Ebay just to name a few . I can't remember a bad deal I've had (knock on wood) yes I've had a few that I needed to contact the seller but those problems were worked out .

I have been ripped off many times during the last 20years or so. Best was the time a seller sold same item twice and in ebay communication he admitted he would keep my money and not give me the item. Ebay did nothing. Just remember that ebay stopped giving great service to buyers many years ago, now they are almost only interested in the sellers.
I have to disagree. I purchased a marine radar from an eBay seller for $1300. It was listed as in great shape and working perfectly prior to removal. Listing stated "no returns". I received it and it would not turn on. When I contacted the seller, he said that it was working perfectly and I must have done something to it and no he was not taking it back. I filed a claim with eBay. Seller closed his eBay account. After waiting for 5 to 6 days, eBay gave me a full refund including the $130 shipping fee.

I sold a brand new item in it's original box on eBay. I shipped the item in it's box packed inside a Priority Mail box. Customer changed her mind and asked for a refund. I reluctantly agreed. Buyer shipped the item in it's box instead of packing it in another box. The manufacturers box was covered with tape and labels making it unsellable as a brand new item. eBay gave her a refund out of my Pay Pal account. I contacted eBay and described the ruined box. They gave me my money back and told me to keep the item.

I've had many positive experience with eBay as both a buyer and seller. I would not hesitate buying from eBay. They have a very good customer service policy that protects the buyer and seller.
