Two engines? Yes, in my youth there was a 4wd version of the French Citroen 2CV with one engine in the rear and one in front. Odd-looking little beast (but no more so than the standard 2CV). Don't know how successful it was.

Every time I see a Fiat 500 (we have a Fiat store in the mall near where my legal practice is so I frequently walk by) I keep wondering if a nice Cobalt SS driveline would fit into one of those diminutive beasts.
The fact that they weigh about 500 lbs less is the equivalent of having over 300 BHP in a Kappa......and then you start tuning!
