I took my wife's Fiesta in for some warranty work today at the Ford dealer. I also needed to have the NC state inspection performed on my Ford Edge and the Solstice. I asked the service writer if he could do inspection on both cars and he said no problem just bring them in today. I only live about a mile from this small farm town dealer. Drove the Fiesta home, brought the Edge back up, drove it home and picked of the Sol to take in. Took about a half hour and service tech who worked on all three cars today parks it when finished right in front on the dealer door entrance. At his point everyone looking at cars, the sales staff and those waiting for service walk (about 10 people) out the door
and start checking it out. I was paying my bill and walk out to get in and one
of the older gentlemen says "Is that the new Mustang?" I said no it is a six year old Pontiac Solstice. He just shook his head and said "It should be"
Made my day.

Ha, ha. That's funny. I went to the Nissan dealer ship to pick up my wifes ar at the service center and I got a few looks. probably cause it was the best looking car on the lot. It's really a shame they don't make more cooler looking cars. the only thing close is the Nissan 300 and the porsche but I hate the sloped back.

Ford can only wish they had a Mustang that looked as good as our cars and weigh only 2900 lbs.! The modern day "pony" cars look more like Clydesdales.

When they ask me what is it I just say what does it look like . only small arrow heads and the Indian Head on Trunk . When they tell I let them know its a Pontiac & wait for next ? what model & how long they been making these .
