Maybe I'm just seeing them everywhere, but when I went to this site

which gives driving distances between cities, the car symbol sure looks familiar to me........

I always thought my mental image of the arcade classic "out run" kind of looked like the rear view of the Sol. I looked it up. Eh. Notsomuch.

That icon, however, does indeed.

Which reminds me. I caught a glimpse of a tv spot for the Jag F-type that stoked my memory. That day I told my wife that I'd have to show her a picture of it, as it has a lot of the styling cues that the Solstice has. She perked right up and said "I SAW that on TV! You're right, it does look a lot like the Solstice."

Well, it HAS to be friggen awesome - it uses a Solstice icon!

I hate to be the naysayer but call me a purist. This icon has too many sharp points - the front end is wrong and the rear? Well, my rear is graceful and lovely to look at.

Looks more like a SKY. The hump in the rear is close to where the spoiler would sit.
