Jacksonville Roadsters Street Rally
November 16th.
This is not a race nor a time and distance event, but a fun cruise through southeastern/southwestern Marion County’s horse farm country - great for top down cruising. It will take 1.5 - 1.75 hours to drive the course; starting at Sam's Club on SR 200 and ending at Mojo's Grill at the corner of SR 200 & NW 17th Street; this is a great restaurant with a nice sized parking lot for our cars. The directions are easy to follow and there will be 25 questions, plus some bonus questions, to answer about things seen along the way. I also have a tie breaker to determine a winner. I am making a small plaque with a Solstice model on it for the winner. All cars will need a co-pilot, clip board and pen, and a fun spirit.
Everyone meeting at Sam's Club at 12:30, after lunch, so we could start at 1:00 P.M. Depending on the number of cars attending I will stagger the start from 3 - 5 minutes. I don't want them to play follow the leader. This would have the last car arriving at Mojo's by 3:15 P.M., everyone would be ready for an early evening meal and then get them home before dark.
