Please forgive my ignorance but it’s not really drivable right? In any legal sense I mean?
Also, it doesn’t have a hood? Like to work on the motor. That part has me a little confused.
Either way that is one handsome dash. What a skilled craftsman!
I imagine the wooden jigs/molds were removed from the car before the final mounting of the fiberglass hood? Maybe he is using the Solstice hood hinges / lift mechanism
As impressive to me as the person who melded the '65 GTO front end's essence on his Solstice and it looked perfect. This is a project way beyond dreams. Thanks for the heads up and link. An enjoyable trip through the process. (And backed by GM Engineering.)
Here you go, dated and all. (November 15, 2017) At some time there were other photos available at the builder did sell the car. I still like looking at it. My guess is Chop, Rob or John will recognize it and may have the link to more photos. Wish I'd put 'em all in a folder. I seem to recall the builder was a body guy...I would say! I've seen hints of the 1954 Bonneville Special Motorama Car in the Solstice. But that's another conversation. The Ferrari could be wrapped foam but I hope it's metal. No 3D printing when you have a hydro-forming press out back.

Yep, "That Thing" again...I laughed and thank you for the Haggerty link. I don't normally have the time to cruise threads but today sitting on hold at war with Verizon it's a blessing!
