Kerrville XV will be February 20th - 22nd. Make your plans to drive the best roads in the most scenic area of Texas. For those that don't know, the 3 Sisters area is a technical course and even at slower (Tour) speeds is not a Sunday drive in the park. It is a very challenging and fun drive due to the length and many twisty sections. The Kerrville Run is the full length version of the 3 Sisters Run that was offered for the Austin 2011 Nationals. Lunch for the run will be at the Bent Rim Grill in Leakey and dinner will be at the YO Hotel.

We'll be staying at the YO Ranch Hotel, 2033 Sidney Baker/16, Kerrville (877-967-3767). You can also register online at yoranchhotel.com and use the group code SWSOL1214. Rooms are $85 a night and we have a 25 room block (Block ends January 21st). Before you Expedia Commandos start hammering me on the rate, this price includes breakfast. Make sure you aks for the the February SWSC rate since we also have a block in December. If there any booking problems, contact me so we can get it straightened out. If you have any questions, please aks them in open forum. Chances are pretty good that someone else is wondering the same thing and it also saves me from a PM barrage.

Radios are MANDATORY since we'll be out in the boonies and have zero cell reception.

When you sign up, I need to know whether you want to be in a Run (Fast) or a Tour (Not as Fast) group and how many will be coming. I will also need some Run/Tour Leads since we want to keep the groups to no more than 10 cars in a chase pack and, hopefully, this will be the grand unveiling of my new toy. As with all things SWSC, this is an open cruise. We don't care what you show up in, just show up...

February just came around too fast. I'm in the middle of building sub boxes and have everything torn apart, 2 bald tires and my light is on for the passenger side airbag.

"I" had a superb time last year and wanted to bring my 14yr old son this year. I didn't book my room till late so maybe I'll get the boxes done and get a set if tires and if need ba can use a seat from the 06 and make it up there. I'll keep you posted.

well, I thought I had everything done but the GXP is down. While testing the new tires which had 50psi in them I way over trusted them and drifted into a curb, bent my right front rim to shlt and my alignment is jacked.

I thought about taking the IQ but I'm not too confident it wont tump over taking one of those turns at 70. I'm cool with dying and all but no way, not in that thing.

50psi?!? Were you planning on running the salt flats? Hope that's all you have to get fixed. :yesnod:

I'm in the same shape, I got a grenaded engine and Dr Dave is doing his best to get me a car.

No, that's how much air the tire place sent me home with and I honestly think that's why I lost the rear end. The place that put the tires on my 06 for the dealer did the same damn thing and it rode like a tank. The dealer picked it up drove it back and told me they put run flats on it. guess he noticed it too. those were at 55psi.

I now have at 33 and it seems much better.

I'll be sure and get my stuff ironed out and be ready for the next time. That was the most fun I ever had on 4 wheels. it's a shame I gotta miss it.
