I don't like the fact that I spent $10.00 more for a diecast car at the Solstice website. So, I'm off on the hunt for quality clothing, etc. that has "Solstice" somewhere on the item. The pics are for us female members, but there's a selection for the men, too.

Great find Solli!

Ive been lurking :lurk: on the Solsticestuff site eyeing the Neo jacket, but noticed their pricing didnt seem competitive. The model is priced steeply but Im not so sure about the clothing since they seem to be using advanced materials in construction. Seems there might be a market for more variety and more competitive pricing for the enthusiasts. I not happy with their choice in hat styles either. Maybe there will be more offered after the cars start showing up on the road.

Interestingly, the sell a convertible pant.

Look at the green sol. The interior is the sand, which you can't get with the green!

You can now!!! Same with the red.

Is this true? When did this happen? I need to know so I can tell my dealer to change my order.

Riased the price

When I ordered my 1/18th scale car it was 19.95 - right after that it jumped to 29.95. They realized it was going to be popular. :brentil:

What you have found, my dear, is a lot of stuff branded Solstice, which is okay if the Solstice brand of outerwear which has nothing to do with Solstice the car or Solstice the car official GM logos is what you desire, then have at it and we won't let on any different.

Thanks!

Some items are listed on amazon too, if you're looking for a deal :) (up to half the price.

I'm especially interested in the Hybrid shorts. Mine get such lousy mileage.

That's my sentiment, precisely! A larger choice of items & who really cares? I'm not " GM branded" to that degree, anyway.

Just to let all you Canadians know, I picked up the grey Solstice diecast at a local shop called "Hooked on Karz". When I looked at ordering one from the US (even from the aftermarket place) it was going to cost well over 40$ American. With duty, tax, shipping and exchange it would have come to about $63.00 Canadian. It was only $40.00 at the shop near here.

Also, for those of you that are looking for Solstice clothing my wife just bought me a bunch of t-shirts and iron-on transfer sheets and I now have some nice t's with pictures of Solstice on them. They look awesome.

Now that's thinking! Find out what transfer brand she used. Some of them aren't worth the effort.

I can't believe people are paying so much for these things! Don't you know to shop around a bit or do most of you just impulse buy at the first sight of something?

Geez, anytime I want something and don't need it right away I ALWAYS check eBay before doing anything. You could have saved some money had you done the same thing.

Check Solstice items on eBay, the diecasts are going for 16-17 bucks.

ebay might save you money if you can find a seller who isn't into jacking the shipping rates. Some of them are ridiculous.

very true! most of the ones on eBay are charging 10 bucks shipping.

I don't know what shipping runs on those websites though, it might be close.

I'm still contemplating getting a model and taking it all apart to spray paint it red... :D
