Yes, that car is a nice one - they look good in silver, and he has taken good care of it. I agree with his decision to sell - if he really wants an occasional track day car and wants to cage it, better he picks up a convertible than butchers a coupe. He can probably get enough money from the coupe to turn around and buy an 08 or 09 GXP vert and have money to spare to prep and cage the car.

I also like the wheels he chose better than I like most after market wheels, though I wouldn't have bothered changing brakes, as the stock ones are up to the job for track days if you choose pads carefully.

When I bought my Jeeps (TJ) I knew enough about them that ordering a manual was mandatory w/resale value. As far as the coupes goes, maybe it's common knowledge that less manuals were produced and therefore are worth/wanted more?

Nice find. Another auto... Not to restart the tired auto vs stick argument, but the autos continue to outnumber available coupes by a huge margin. A 5-speed GXP is a very rare breed, at times there are just one or two listings in the entire country.

last I checked, there was still a red/aggressive
manual gxp coupe in Baltimore for sale for $28k.
That listing was mentioned in earlier posts of this thread.
