so what does a Limited Slip Differential actualy do, and what are the advantages?

LSD is good for riding in slippery conditions. If a wheel slips more power is given to the other wheels to maintain stability.

If you are going to drive in rain or snow a LSD is a must.

And if you don't want to read up, in a nutshell, during cornering your outside drive wheel is heavily loaded and the inside wheel can start to slip due to being un-loaded. An LSD will transfer more torque to the outside wheel for better acceleration out of a corner.

Then there is the rain and snow thing.;)

If you did not order this option on the Solstice, shame, shame.

yes i did order it, cause i do know it is a good thing, but i was not sure of its exact function.
