I have started to gather info on Mallet Converted Kappa's Similar to the Solstice Coupe Registry. So Far I have a very incomplete list with 26 Solstice, & 9 Sky's listed.

It was called the Mallet 327 after the HP the engine is supposed to produce, you may have seen pictures of it already, it is Mean Yellow, and was used to advertise Norms Fiberglass parts for some time. Here are some pictures of it from the web. The owner is a member here I beleive.

2008 4 Cylinder Mallet Solstice?

I was just sent these pictures from a friend that took these at a car show in 2014, reportedly the only 4 cylinder modified my Mallet before the bankruptcy. Does anyone know the car? I have never hears of a non V8 Modified car by Mallet. But always willing to learn something new.

Jeff the only suggestion I can make is adding some other V8 category's. For example I remember that V8 Archie (from the Fiero world), built at least one, possible more. Then there was the Solbra V8s, and of course examples from DDM (no longer does V8), PAW, and I think the newest place is Kappa Haus. But they also run the Kappa Swap group on FB.

The main reason I'm suggesting adding other V8 categories is because I'd like to know how many V8 Kappa's are running around. Also I would thing including other categories would promote using the Kappa platform among hot rodders in general.

Still call it the Mallet Registry, but include other V8 categories for increased traffic. Anyway jus an idea.

Welcome to the fun little community! Have you gotten to drive it much? My car 2006 #24 has the base LS2 so about 100 less HP than 2006 #013.

That is not a bad Idea, so far I haven't been able to spend much time on it, But I did add a 2007 Blue Mallet Sky in Michigan to it last month. so far just 16 cars out of ???? 300? LOL!

From what I understand about this car it is a Twin Turbo LS7 car. But I agree the $143K does sound fantastic, but if it includes the purchase price of the Solstice & shipping that would be around $30K off of the $143

My car is only a LS2 car with A/C & Non Adjustable Penske/Mallet shocks if you include the purchase price of the car & delivery came to over $54K in 2006. So if you add the LS7 engine, the Twin Turbo, Tremec 6-speed transmission, Penske/Mallet adjustable shocks with remote reservoir's, Mallet Big Brake's, and the Mallet 19" wheels, plus I beleive it was delivered to the original owner with modified Body parts & a repaint. I believe it was the most expensive conversion done by Mallet. I would love to see a copy of the mallet invoice. I also assume it will include some dyno tuning time.

Well I stand corrected, 2006 #013 does indeed have $143K worth of mods done to it. Thanks for sending the copy of the invoice. I never knew they did things like move the rear frame rails inboard 4" to fit wider rear wheels & tires.

Hi again Jeff. Can you post all of the cars you have so far with some of the basic info: year, model, engine, transmission, etc.? The seller of Solstice #025 at Gateway Classic Cars claims that this car is only one of 2 LS7 Solstices produced? I’ve tried to contact Mallett Performance Cars for any production records....but, they have not replied to my inquires.

Jeff: I know it is hard to get information on where cars are located but it would be nice if you could at least get what state. I have the same trouble getting information for the coupe registry. I get the information but not owners name or current location. Hopefully your people will keep you updated. Did the administrators make it so you can edit at any time instead of having to make a new post after 30 days? That really made my job much easier and I can actually post daily if I get new listings. Hope to cya soon

Thanks Jeff!!! Here are a couple of clarifications on 2006 Solstice #13: Mallett repainted the car C6 Millennium Yellow, the posi rear end has 3.73 gearing, I'm not sure if i the Trans is a T56 or T6060??
