Did my last road trip of the year before the long winter park:devil: to Niagara Falls. Was doing some War of 1812 touring....

Pic 1) When low and behold she turned 50,000 km.
Pic 2) She turned 50,000 at the foot of Queenston Heights. Actually, it happened about I KM prior but I felt the need to take some "historical license". It was here that the American Invasion was repelled by British Regulars, CDN Militia and Aboriginals (Six Nations) loyal to the British Crown.
Pic 3) Niagara Historical Plaque with Sol in background.
Pic 4) The American Forces were defeated and the invasion was repulsed. However, British General Sir Issac Brock ( the Hero and Savior of Upper Canada) was killed leading a charge. His monument is up on the heights above my Sol. You see it to the right of the trees.
Pic 5) A glamour shot of my Sol with new "street edition black head lamps". Notice War of 1812 license plate.:willy:

Was lucky to get this last road trip in before the winter arrives!!!:cool::thumbs:

Light snow this a.m. in Michigan. I went in to work 6:30 to 11. Came home and wife and I took the Sol out to lunch. (Roads clear and dry by then.) Still no salt on the roads! (But the car needs washing and TLC for sure!) Probably do that tomorrow while I listen to the Lions lose.
