Its pretty easy to install except I had problems trying to get the boot of the black trim piece but other than that its easy

I like the stock knob but it's starting the wear a bit. I'm not a big fan of all metal knobs because they're like molten lava in the summer and glaciers in the winter.

I have a white plastic knob that Joe engraved for me in I think 08. I love it. It has no signs of wear.

Hi there!

I too love my JPM shifter. The engraved black metal ball on mine is fantastic looking and feels great to drive, but it is definitely hot in the summer and cold in the winter, at least for a little bit. It is a really good lesson in thermal conductivity and thermal mass
