your tires

tires are not uni-directional so they can be rotated...

preferred method is left to left (back to front etc) & right to right
not back left to front right.

your manual gives you recommended tire pressure...plus it will be on the door sticker and on the sidewall of the actual tire .

probably best around 35...but read and get a pressure gauge

Tire pressures recomended by the car manufacturer are often less then the cold max pressure listed on the tire. Its a matter of compromise for ride quality. I tend to lean towards the pressure listed by the tire manufacturer (something many Ford SUV owners should have done!) since this provides max load carrying capacity, helps cool tire temps, and in my mind gives better handling, but you will probably sacrifice some ride quility and tire wear over time.

If I remember correctly someone took a pic of the placard or it was in one of the manuals. The tire presure is 29 psi I believe. All 4 wheels and tires are 245x45x18x8 with an offset of 55, so they can all be interchangeable if need be.

I looked at my manual over the weekend and I think the recommended tire rotation was Left front to right rear, Right front to left rear I believe, I will check it again. But I agree in the past I have always rotated right to right and left to left, front to rear, rear to front.

Just a quick question if you don't mind (well actually two)
1. How are you getting a Sol in the UK?
2. Are you going to offer it to Top Gear for a road test?
