I need some help. I have the windrestrictor lighted door sills. I LOVE all of the WR stuff!! It is as of the utmost quality!!!! Unfortuneatly, my factory plastic sills are not. They are all twisted. Not too mention I have to adjust my doors because their is water getting in and under them. Any advice on how to straighten out my OE sills so the WR stuff will stick to them? I have to pull the tape off of everything for a 3rd time now. Again, let me state that it is in no way Windrestrictors problem....this is a problem with the OEM sill....What can I use to get the tape off so I can replace it with new tape? I used brake cleaner the first time, but took F O R E V E R ! ! ! !

The easiest way is to pull the factory metal trim off completely. Then use 3M tape and they will work well. The metal trim is stuck ln with thin adhesive and after a bit of fiddling will come right off.
