I got tired of my stick on Garmin, so since I sold my Trans Am I put some of the money into the Solstice.

That's real nice. Ill probably end up changing mine just because I'm tired of hitting the off button when I shift. I've gotten better at it but I still do it about once every 2 weeks.

Looks like an AVIC model - very clean, very nice and they have Bluetooth! Not cheap but factor in the cost of a separate GPS and you get up there pretty quick. If I were inclined to change the stereo I'd probably look at something like that.

I put a pioneer in my Lexus and it is not very bright. I have a convertible and doubt I would be able to see the display with the top down. Think this one would be bright enough for a convertable?

I doubt you will find one with the angle of our dash Sam. just one of those things you have to deal with.

The Head Unit is a AVIC-Z150BH you do get a little glare but its better than the factory radio and you can angle the screen which helps at times. Cost was 1700 (parts, installation) works with my Bose, XM, steering wheel controls and all bells. I could have gotten it cheaper at Best Buy but I really like the service at the shop that installed it so I paid a couple hundred more and did not have to order it.

The shift knob is out of a Saturn Sky.
