How's it going everyone, I'm Jake from western NY (Corning / Elmira Area). Proud new owner of a 2007 Solstice 2.4, 5 Speed with 67k miles. Dark Blue with the black and Tan color combo. Ill post some pictures later, I don't have any on my work computer. Definitely love this car, and I have a long history with building Pontiac's / GM's. Looking forward to getting to know you all, and building this future monster! Getting Tint done today, and upgrading the sound system next week. The week before Christmas, my friends at Overdrive Motorsports in Johnson City NY, are going to throw it on the dyno for a Base Tune (HPTuners), and over the winter Ill start building up a little stock pile of mods. Intake and Exhaust to start, some appearance mods, and probably suspension. Looking at possibly doing an Air Cup mod to go with coilovers. Plus all the braces, bushings, and stablizers I can lol. I plan on occasional AutoX, a once or twice a year 1/4 mile pull (Basically just to show improvement after new mods), and when its not crappy weather, I still want to be able to DD it. It will get boosted eventually too, but that is a couple years down the road. Im still researching and deciding what route will work best for me (S/C or Turbo, and which kit of either I want). Not all about max power for me, but max reliable power without harming the car every time I do a pull. Aaaaannnnyway, I rambled lol. Sorry. Nice to be here! Pics later today

Welcome Pop!

Pop?

Micro aggression?
Poppin Fresh is my nickname actually. Im a semi professional dancer. I travel the world doing a dance style called "Popping" in my spare time. if you don't know what it is, it's things like the robot, glides and moonwalk, waving etc.
Here is a video of me from last April doing a showcase for a competition I was judging.

Welcome to the forum!
I absolutely love the color. I live just north of Binghamton NY. I've had my GXP for a year and love it way more than I probably should. Sadly it is parked for the winter and we are both pining away for spring.

Welcome, looks like we both bought Solstices within a few days of each other. It's a fun car and is a looker. Enjoy your new ride.
