So, just dropping in to introduce myslef to the crowd. I just bought a 2006 Solstice with 15000 miles on it. She is number 730 built of the first year production. Planning a DDM supercharger, exhaust and some bits to stiffen up the frame a bit. Hello to my new auto family for the duration of owning this beautiful car.

If you don't mind my asking, is the last 8 of your VIN 6Y100730 or 6Y000730?

If it is 6Y100730, what is the build date on the sticker on the end of the driver's door? It is in the format mm/yy. So ??/05.

welcome aboard. just be sure and explore all your options before you start modding. the DDM SC will give you some good power but for close to the same money, depending on how much of the work you do yourself, you can almost drop in an LS3.

I'm aware of the cost involved and the motor swap options. Because it's a first 1000 I think I'm going to try to keep the original engine onboard. That is unless a catastrophic failure changes my plans for me.
