Pretty glowing review of the Motivo. These tires are competitively priced at $164/ea from discount tire and have a 60k mile warranty, which is a lot.

The review says they blow away other all seasons, and are only a little behind summer tires. I'm thinking of grabbing a pair for my rear today but wanted to know what others think, if you have experience with this tire etc.

Seems like I might be missing a piece of the puzzle at this price.

Grab last month Consumer Retorts... big comparison of Ultra Summer and Ultra A/S.

Your Nittos weren't in it, but they marked the Michelin Pilot A/S 3's as top in all season, and they beat dry/wet grip & handling of all but the top 4 of the Ultra Summers too!

Prolly more expensive though :(

Only $10 more per tire and less with mailin rebate on a non-supporting vendor sight.

Next summer I have to replace my tires and have been doing some shopping.

Question though....I though you couldn't/shouldn't put mismatched tires on a car. :dunno:

Interesting. Discount Tire has the Michelins for $210 each, but Tire Rack has them for a lot cheaper than the Nittos at $92/ea and an additional $70 rebate if you buy 4, which would basically cover shipping and installation.

I have last month's CR around here somewhere, maybe I can dig it up. Thanks for the info!

In a perfect world, that's correct. However some of us are strapped for cash. You can replace the fronts or the rears at the same time and be okay. Just always put your newer tires on the rear.

I think you may be looking at earlier versions of the A/S's on Tire Rack. They show as $217 ea, for me. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...3+(W-+or+Y-Speed+Rated)&partnum=445YR8PSAS3XL
