Article Link:After the appearance of the Nomad concept on the auto-show circuit this year, many expected the subcompact wagon to be quickly approved for production.
Nomad was one of a trio of vehicles derived from General Motors' new rear-wheel-drive subcompact architecture. The others are the Pontiac Solstice roadster that comes out for '06 and the Saturn Curve coupe that arrive six months later - with a different name.
But the jury is still out on Nomad, Campbell said.
"We're still working on business case issues to see if it can pass the test. It's still possible, but it hasn't been approved," he said.
