Just passing this along, Norm posted this to the FB Kappa Group, no other info available: Hello working on a new top design for the Solstice, where it blends into the rear deck lid area and bumper. Rather than sitting on top. Will make it more aerodynamic with the rear duck tail spoiler. Adding the rear spoiler will also give it a longer more sleeker profile.

Brethren,
I looked at the photos on Norms Facebook page & actually think it does not look bad.The photos show the top blending in with the "duck tail" with one photo showing a completed & painted model He quoted the starting price at 3495.00 plus 450.00 for the headliner. Seems doable for those who want to go in that direction. Changes the whole look of the car & almost looks better than the factory coupe.

I'm guessing he eliminated the molded in coupe spoiler in order to be able to use the new spoiler he made for the MySorrari custom vert.

But I was hoping he'd make something similar to the old Aftershocks product ducktail spoiler, but may a little wilder.

When I think of a coupe ducktail spoiler I'm thinking of something more like this. A piece that extends the OEM
edge of the coupe spoiler out a few inches but nothing too radical.

The entire rear bumper was replaced with a customi version if Norms racing number. Absolutely nothing left of the original rear body panels in this area,

it looks long enough that a truck grille, or any other flat faced front, would easily hit it
You are correct and careful parking practices will be essential with this look. The extensio has some very real aerodynamic principles that would have been lesser with a shorter option. Now, because the new top comes without abuilt in spoiler, you could choose your own spoiler version and look.

Brethren ,
Car looks great ! I think I saw it last summer when I was up to Norm's sitting in his lot.Had the big spoiler on the back. Wondered what was going on with it .sure looks good
.I think Norm ought to upgrade his title to "Norm's Chariot Shop"
