I've been trying to get on norms website, but i am having a hard time getting to it. I figured i typed it out wrong, so i used google, but still nothing. Is his site down?

Yes I built the site and I wouldn't worry about the business as Norm is busier than ever. This happens every year about his time. In a few days it'll likely be sorted out. It's a billing issue with AT&T where Norm purchased his domain name years ago.

Now that I can fully understand. I bought my domain initially through ATTBI AT&T Business and they always dropped the renewal. Only after COMCAST bought them out did that get fixed. :thumbs:

So how/why does the Afterschock site continue to come up even though you can't order parts? I In order for a website to exist doesn't a domain fee have to continue to have to be payed?

So you pay for domain name registration as well as hosting and depending on your contract, configuration either one can auto-bill for renew. For a year to three.

Some service providers will auto renew and bill you. Godaddy comes to mind.

Hello, had no idea my domain name expired until Sly Bob brought it to my attention. Switched from ATT to Comcast for the broadband some time ago and never thought about the renewal. With my wife in Chemo my attention has been diverted. The site is up and all is well now, thanks for all your concerns, Norm

FWIW the DNS hasn't propagated fully yet and I'm still getting the "expired" page.
