Hello,

I hope this thread may become a useful sticky for the procedures to remove the battery. According to the service manual, you need to remove the battery by using the passenger side fender method. This means you need to remove the passenger side fender to make space for the battery to come out.

Here is my video of the experience:

I don't know why there is hesitation on some threads to remove the fender as per the service manual for the battery removal. I did struggle with one bolt screw, but as soon as you understand you have to access it from inside the passenger door, battery removal should take 5 mins.

Thanks NavyKnight for the video, it will be a great help and I need to do this soon.
Thanks also, pobox518, I came across it in "new posts" since you posted to the thread yesterday, and it caught my attention!
Nice to find a little helper like this, I can use the guidance.
Cheers, -bird

The AC Delco OEM battery goes for a little over $100 USD.
A dealer would probably charge you for an hour worth of labor which it can go for as low as $95 USD or as high as $130.00 USD

That is a bit high for what in most cases takes less than an hour to do.
