Okay....like all of you folks, I have fallen for the Sol in a big way and hope to buy one soon. Here is my problem: my spouse is in the military and we will be moving in the spring of 2006, likely early June. The kicker is we don't know where yet and won't know until Feb/Mar.
Is it possible to order a vehicle from a local dealer and have it delivered to somewhere else, say my parents house in Tucson? How far in advance do I need to order the car if I want it by next spring? I don't think I can get the car before we move as this would mean having two cars transported across the country (the Sol will be a 3rd car for us). Thanks in advance for the help.

You can if both dealers are agreeable. It is called a courtesy delivery.

I think that you need to order NOW to have a good chance of getting a 2006 Model Year by next Spring. Unless you buy on eBay.

Yeah, check with 2KWK4U, I believe he has a courtesy delivery set up. He moved from the East Coast out to CA while waiting for Solstice production to start. He may be able to give you some advice on how to set it up.
