Hi Im going tonight with a few friends to the Orlando Speedworld Dragway! If anyone is interested in coming out its $10 to get in and just $5 more to race. This will be the first time i take my Solstice out on the track im very curious to see what she will run!

Any guess? Im guessing mid 14s... Hopefully she will not be in the 15s.... or worse...

Hit me up if you would like to come out its from 6:30 to 10:30. I will be out there all afternoon!

Ran up against a friends Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec about 3 runs and the solstice won all three. we are both kinda noobs but she had a better reaction time then i did on 2 of them. The Solstice N/A ran 16.1 secs in the 1/4 mile. I'm very disappointed... i think i was asking too much for it to be in the 14s.... I come from a car that weighed over 4500lbs and ran almost 12s in the same track. thought the 2500lbs would make this thing faster. But it sure was fun and wont be my last time out there!

The Genesis was always close it wasn't victory by a mile. She has a wastegate, BOV, and cold air intake on her car.

Can't positively tell, but your photo looks like an NA Solstice? So your 1/4 times look in the right ballpark. Turbos seem to run in the low 14's without a tune.

You need to update your sig! :)

I own a 2006 Solstice 2.4L 5 speed.

So my exact run details are:
DIAL--Solstice--Genesis Coupe
R/T--0.753 -- 0.785
60'--2.338 -- 2.451
330--6.758 -- 7.059
1/8--10.362 -- 10.788
MPH--67.65 -- 67.19
1000--13.499 -- 13.941
1/4--16.133 -- 16.821
MPH--85.76 -- 71.34

She did hit the breaks at the end early... Reason was she couldnt see because her window fogged up. You all be the judge. i think i would have still had this. We will go again sometime next week for a rematch. I ran with a full tank i will try running on a 1/4 tank next time.
