Well.....I knew it was only time until something else went wrong. I honestly believe that I am considering selling Soli.... She is just too tempermetal for me and has too many issues that the previous owner ignored. I knew from sitting idling so long on Woodward that I was going to get a code. I'm about at the end of my rope with this car and all of it's issues. I know that most of these cars are awesome, and I will probably look for another if I get rid of mine. I just can't be spending $500/mth on repairs all the time. I'm now out of warranty and this one is on my dime... :brentil: I would rather spend $500 on mods!

I know, but you don't know the half of what I've had done in the last 8 months! I've had almost $5k worth of work done under warranty! I'll be fine....I'm just venting....

Oh yeah, I have definitely been where you are right now, Ghost.

I still wake up from a continuing nightmare where I die, go to Hell; and the Devil has my Sky waiting for me.:lol::lol:

But, for what it is worth: After nearly 40 trips to service, they finally got everything fixed. And the little guy has been pretty darn dependable over the last 15-18 months. Guess I am just to tenacious to give up on anything. And as a side note, I am pretty sure I have the most famous Sky in GM History.

At the end of the day, you have to decide for yourself if the headache is worth the effort. Fortunately, I was in a position where I could deal with it. But not everyone has the time available to deal with the continuous trips to service.

I just have to say, I bought my Mustang with 38k on it, I drove it to over 150k and I tallied all of my receipts for "repairs". Let's just say I'm already 5 times (at just $5k) then what I paid to repair my Mustang..... And that is a little disheartening. Will I get rid of Soli? Not yet. I love her. :yesnod: But, the next time could do it. The problem with my car is that the 2nd owner didn't do ANY type of work to the car at the dealership. I don't know if he/she did any repairs to it at all during the 30k miles they owned it. I don't even know if maintanence was done as the carfax shows nothing from the time they bought it at 10k to the time they sold it at 36k.

Well...just got the call from the dealer. I owe my $100 deductible. It was the O2 sensor and the purge valve. So I look at it this way, $89.99 for the O2 sensor at Autozone and $32.98 for the purge valve..... So, I got the labor for nothing.

I do have to say that on the ride home last night when the check engine light came on, the car's temp went up to 215 on the freeway.

Sigh . . .
At least the repair is under warranty. They have to diagnose it for free and if its due to something they did or did not do as part of their repair they need to fix it.

Could be as simple as the gas cap.

So I picked up Soli....she had 5 codes in her!

P0130
P0131
P0132
P2237
P2297

I think they're all related to the O2 sensor....
