Recently had to replace the engine in GXPsy (cracked block at 50K miles). At first everything was fine. Then it set a P0335 code. Erased it, and everything seemed ok. Apparently not all is ok. The P0335 code keeps recurring now. I've replaced the cranckshaft position sensor, yet still get the P0335 codes. can anyone help? Thanks.

Nearly new, and fully charged. Thanks. I appreciate the suggestion.

My camshaft solenoid connector was bad and i would get an intermittent circuit malfunction code. It took a little while to figure out the pigtail was bad. Sounds like it is a wiring issue to me.

Another question. Was the position sensor ever re-adapted (re-learned) after the engine swap or the sensor replacement? Running the car with new (or re-oriented) parts and an old adaptation can also cause this code to set at varying periods of time.
