Thanks for the link, Sly Bob.

Many of us use Nalley's GMC parts pages to find parts for the Sol and Sky, and other General Motors cars. If you end up using their web pages as a source of part numbers, think about buying your parts from them. It costs them some decent dollars to make this service available, and I think it is certainly a fair trade off to "pay them back" by ordering parts from them.

Their pricing is competitive with the other online parts places out there.

I echo Dave's sentiments. I have purchased from them when pricing was competitive. Also have a nearby Buick dealer that has done right by me also. I don't mind paying for service.

This parts number thread was compiled by a member (former?). However, I don't believe it was continued to be undated. Still it has a lot of parts number info.

Those part numbers from that post are all going to be superseded and incorrect after 7 years. GM tends to supersede part numbers after a 6mos to a year. I'll give an example. My waterpump has been superseded at least 7 times since 2008! Probably because they are trying different designs and trying to find one that won't fail.

Just a note about Nalley, they only display the part numbers for the parts they have in stock. So if THEY don't have them, then you're SOL. However, the liklehood is that if they don't have them maybe no one else does either.

I know its always nice to be able to catalog your own parts and that's why im here.

With the world of the internet once you have the part number there will be no end to finding better deals.
Its too bad its putting some very good companies out of business.
At some point there will be no person to person interaction as it will all be done by machines.
I hope what ever business you happen to be in doesn't fall into this same scenario.

We do appreciate the business we do get from the community and will continue to support you any way we can.

Meanwhile we try to list the most popular parts on our site but if there is something your looking for you can't find we are only a call away.

Tom makes a good point re: a phone call. I always weigh my options. I shop locally when I can, consider shipping costs when I can't, and always remember good service.

A lot of websites will ship you whatever you ask for and if you asked for the wrong thing, well then that's what you get!
